Know the God you Worship

It is one thing to KNOW God and it is another thing to WORSHIP Him. David encourages people to praise (worship) God with understanding (Psalm 47:7).

The scriptures above (Romans 1:21-23) talk about the consequences that come on a man who knows God but choses not to worship Him. In this time where many things are happening, where many gymnastics are being done in the name of worship, may we stay pure and true to the God we know and then ultimately worship Him.
Last time I spoke about a people who were worshiping an UNKNOWN GOD (Acts 17:23). Now we are talking about a person who knows God but choses not to worship Him. May God help the church to keep pure. At every revelation of God's character may we worship Him as such. Whenever God reveals Himself as a Healer, Faithful God, Holy God, Promise-keeper, Way-maker, make a choose to worship Him likewise.
If we KNOW God and chose not to worship Him:
- we become foolish in His sight,
- light ceases to exist in our world because we have denied the light,
- we end up seeking and give in to other things that compete with God for attention ~ idolatry
Dear brothers and sisters, may the Lord help us to KNOW HIM and WORSHIP the RIGHT WAY....
